I was invited to the JavaScript Lab Meetup in Amsterdam last night, to speak about using JavaScript to build mobile apps with native interfaces. I felt right at home in this wonderful community. About 70 people came together in the jaw dropping “holy” offices of Global Orange for pizza, drinks and talks.

I really enjoyed Gert Hengeveld‘s talk about Readable JavaScript. He had some great tips at how to let your code speak for itself and more reliable as well.

After a short break I continued and introduced how Titanium enables any JavaScript developer to become a native mobile app developer. You can find the slides on Speaker Deck and embedded in this post:

Thank you JavaScript Lab, Max, Davy and the folks at Global Orange for having me!
