While I’m writing this, a little under a hundred Titanium developers are enjoying their night’s rest in Atlanta. The first of the 2-day Titanium AppCamp USA 2013 consisted of just a few planned presentations, then a whole bunch of ‘un’conference-style pop-up sessions and in finally a long night hacking Titanium.
Presenting TiNy
Unfortunately I couldn’t make both the first AppCamp in London earlier this year as well as this second one in Atlanta. However, I did do some hacking myself this week – resulting in TiNy – and organizer Ketan and I thought I might as well do a remote ‘un’conference session on it! So unfinished as TiNy is, I put some slides together and had a nice get-together with Appcelerator CLI-lead Chris Barber, CEO Jeff Haynie and some great TiDevs like Andrew McElroy. Another 7 people followed the session over Google Hangout.
Recording & Slides
Only after the session I found out the streamed and recorded session didn’t show the slides, but here’s both the video and the slides:
Titanium CLI 3.2
Also check out the slides of Chris’ AppCamp talk on the new Titanium CLI. It is a complete rewrite, much faster, supporting Genymotion and… CLI hooks! This last feature might be interesting for TiNy and who knows how in return, TiNy’s recipes/smarts may one day be part of Chris’ future ideas for build profiles and stuff. Code strong!
